Mavis Staples
Posted on 6/17/2014

Marc is thrilled to share the stage with renowned Mavis Staples for four nights during his summer tour. The legendary blues singer has been setting standards in the music industry for six decades. Her music is filled with gospel, soul, rock and pop influences – but her soulful voice has remained constant through the years.

“After doing shows with Bonnie Raitt and Mavis, what else is there?” says Marc.

Mavis will join Marc on June 21, 22, 24 and 25. The Grammy-winner will sing songs from her latest album, One True Vine. Her legacy has given voice to entire movements, and she was recently named WFUV’s Artist of the Year.
